Tidbits - Success and Social Acceptance
The most important ingredient of success, as the world knows it, is social acceptance.
The reason is, in fact, right there in the middle of the sentence! Having said that, unlikely, that there are too many reclusive folks whose success is known or visible to the world (while they may still be successful in their own state of self-awareness). And, unlikely, that there are too many successful folks, that have achieved whatever they set out to, that aren’t known to the world.
Haven't heard of a sportsman setting a world record during private practice being acknowledged a world champion! Haven't read about a well-published author that hasn't written a bestseller! Haven't heard of a successsful spiritual guru or a corporate leader that did not have followers! Ok, there are zillions of examples to cite, but the point is that social acceptance is the all-important feedback loop that defines success.
